Mystery of The Night

Ch. 1

Sapphire blue eyes were glowing amongst the night; her heels were clicking against the pavement as she was now strolling towards her bike in Gotham City. Isabella had been spending most of her night keeping an eye out for a group of vampires that associated with the mafia. Cornelius the leader of the Trinity clan was her main target.

Once she saw all of them walking out of the restaurant supposedly congratulating each other by intimidating another clan to go along with their wishes, she then slowly got onto her motorcycle as she flicked the cigarette she was smoking watching them drive off. She then immediately turned on her bike and started to rev her engine, speeding after them, tonight was their night, tonight was the night where everyone in the supernatural underworld will learn her name.

However, while this was going on the Joker and his team were about to break into another bank, with Batman standing up on the top of one of the nearby buildings watching down on them. Tonight was the night he would target them and finally get the Joker, but their plans suddenly turn into a halt when they heard a Motorcycle speeding down the road and immediately stopped right next to the bank.

The Joker became confused, but severely amused and decided to halt their plans to see what this little thing was up to. Isabella immediately stopped her bike and turned it sideways waiting for Cornelius to come. Batman was completely curious as to what she was doing, he ended up seeing her move off her bike and lean up against it crossing her arms, it looked as if she was waiting for someone. He then further examined her, she was what looked like to be about 5'9" with long dark brown wavy hair, and he had to admit she had a very nice figure. However, he wasn’t the only one examining her.

The Joker smirked wondering what this little thing was up to, he saw her just standing there leaning up against her bike. 'Wonder what she's up to.' He thought to himself, just then one of his guys started to get antsy. "Boss what is she doing?" The Joker's smirk then grew even wider as he watched her. "I don't know, but I'm dying to find out." Suddenly one of the other guys looked over at him. "You don't think she's here for us do you?" The Joker sighed and rolled his eyes getting irritated with their constant questioning. "If any of you continue your constant questions I will not hesitate to end any of your sorry lives you understand?" he said in an eerily calm tone, he then immediately smirked once he heard them all instantly become quiet. "Good. Now let's see what she's going to do."

Just then, a four door Chrysler m300 immediately halted once they saw the girl, their tires immediately screeching. Isabella allowed out a dark smirk once the car came to a complete halt, she was just itching for some action and this one was definitely going to be fun. The doors on the car immediately opened four guys coming out from the back and two coming out in the front. Cornelius was the first one to get a good look at her and smirked.

"Hm… Izzy it's so good to see you once again. What is it that you had to make this dramatic appearance?"

He asked knowing full well why she was there, Isabella shrugged, her smirk growing even wider. "Just stopping by, paying a visit. Ya know how much I missed you pet." She said condescendingly in her British accent. Cornelius scoffed as he started to walk towards her, his men following him as he strode. "As amusing as that seems my dear we both know that you have other reasons for your arrival." Isabella then allowed out a small laugh.

"What can I say darling, I had an itch I was just dying to scratch, and that scratch just so happens to be you, my pet."

Cornelius allowed a dark chuckle as he placed his hands in his pockets. "Kill her." He stated simply, his men immediately smirked at her, while Isabella slowly moved off of her bike and started to walk towards them, her smirk never leaving her face. Batman was about to jump down and save her until he saw her immediately go into action. One of Cornelius' men immediately lunged after her, but she quickly moved out of the way and quickly leaned down and did a sweep kick causing him to knock onto the ground, she then quickly pulled out her stake and slammed it into his heart, causing him to turn into dust. "One!" She shouted, then quickly pulled out her dagger and quickly twisted her body up and slashed the other man's neck who was trying to go after her. He reflexively grabbed his neck; while she swiftly took this as her opening and slammed her stake into his heart, him turning into dust as well. "Two!" She shouted, the Joker was severely amused as he watched her and started to laugh merrily. "She's counting how many she's killing!" He said excitedly.

Just then, another man lunged towards her with a wooden rod that he found lying around, he quickly tried to jab it towards her. However, she swiftly leaned back, dropping her stake and dagger. Once he moved the rod back she instantly straightened up and yanked the rod out of his hands and snapped it in two, he stared at her incredulously. Noticing the dark smirk morphing on her lips and quickly started to run away from her until while she swung her two new rods in a full circle and then immediately threw one right at him, the rod piercing right through his head.

Isabella then started to laugh noticing that Cornelius looked severely pissed while the other two men were staring at her in fear. "Three! Give up baby?" she asked smugly, Cornelius then inhumanly growled in frustration and looked over at his two other men and pointed at her. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU STANDING THERE!? KILL HER!" he shouted, just then one of the guys quickly tried to charge her but then she instantly used her other rod and impaled him. She used the rod as leverage to move his body up into the air and direct him to land onto the hood of the car's engine, smashing it up completely as he slowly turned into dust.

"That's Four! Anymore Pet?"

She shouted, as she turned around and saw one more guy. The guy stared at her completely terrified, but then quickly picked up her dagger and quickly threw it at her, aiming for her head. In an instant, she then swiftly used her reflexes and stopped the dagger with both of her hands, the tip of the blade mere inches from her forehead. The guy saw that and suddenly ran, Isabella smirked and quickly threw the dagger right towards the running vampire, the blade slicing right through his head. "That's five now it's only you and me sweetheart." she chuckled, Batman couldn’t believe it, he never saw this in his life. "How are they turning into dust!?" he asked himself incredulously.

Now it was only her and Cornelius, he knew he was no match for her so he decided to take the cowards way out and started to run… really fast. Isabella started to laugh as she quickly ran towards her bike and turned it on and sped after him, she quickly speeded up right in front of him quickly turning her bike onto the side to block him, her tires screeching.

Cornelius instantly stopped his tracks and ran the other way. Isabella smirked at this and revved her engine while he was running the other way; she then sped off with her bike and immediately did a pop wheelie, the bike now driving over the car, creating enough air leverage. Once she was in mid air she then jumped off the bike, landing gracefully as she watched her bike immediately landing right on top of Cornelius, and bursting into flames.

The Joker was eagerly clapping his hands, laughing incessantly from what he saw, while his men stared in terror. Isabella then sighed, another accomplishment for the night. "Sorry baby that's what you get when you burn with fire." She then chuckled at her own words, while a black corvette immediately sped up next to her. In the car, there was another young woman with Black hair, and green eyes. She looked over at the fire behind her and saw that it was Isabella's bike. "What the bloody hell happened to your bike!?" She asked in shock, Isabella smirked at her and shrugged her shoulders.

"I ran out of weapons."

Alessandra rolled her eyes and sighed. "Bloody hell woman, look there's someone who wants to meet you so we gotta get going." Isabella nodded, now immediately feeling someone behind her so she in a quick flash, grabbed the persons arm, used all her strength to lift him up in the air and slammed him onto the ground. Isabella arched her brow as she saw a man draped in what looked like to be black armor and in a black mask with pointed ears, he was looking up at her in shock because of her strength, Isabella rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Sorry darling, I'm not in the mood to play right now."

She then quickly released him and opened the car door and jumped in, and started to sing 'This ain't a Scene' by fallout boy.

"I am an arms dealer. Fitting you with weapons in the form of words. And don't really care, which side wins, As long as the room keeps singing. "That's just the business I'm in. This ain't a scene, it’s a damn arms race, This ain't a scene, it’s a damn arms race, This ain't a scene, it’s a damn arms race. I'm not a shoulder to cry on, but I digress."

Alessandra then immediately sped off, while Batman quickly rose up onto his feet watching the black corvette speeding down the street. "What do you think that was about boss?" one of the Joker's men asked, the Joker shrugged, he was so amazed at how well of a fighter she was and knew that he definitely needed to make it a point to find out who she was, "I don't know but I plan on finding out." Oh yes, she would be a very valuable toy for him.

Meanwhile, the little black corvette instantly stopped in front of an apartment building. Isabella looked up at it and then looked over at Alessandra who was somewhat glaring at her. "What?" she asked with a shrug, Alessandra then sighed and slowly shook her head. "You know that you just knocked down Batman, before we left right?" Isabella gave her a confused look and shrugged.

"…So?"

Alessandra then condescendingly started to laugh. "He's like the vigilante here, if he thinks you're up to something he'll go and find out." Isabella then started to laugh as she slowly shook her head. "Like to see him try luv." Alessandra then smirked at her as she parked the car and pulled her keys out.

"Alright let's get going Izzy, we have a old friend who is dying to talk to you."

Isabella nodded as she unbuckled her seatbelt and jumped out of the car, and then followed Alessandra up towards the building.

Once they both climbed up the stairs, Alessandra then lead her towards a door and knocked. The owner of the apartment then opened their door to allow the two women to enter as Alessandra and Isabella walked in, the owner then softly closes the door and locks it. Isabella and Alessandra then slowly turns to face the person and Isabella couldn’t help but smirk as she crossed her arms, oh yes it has been quite a long time since she saw this face and she couldn’t help but be amused by the fact that they were so desperate to talk to her. Her smirk then turned into a wide smile as she slowly unraveled her arms, her sapphire eyes no longer glowing.

"Hello Harvey."
