Star Wars: The Calm Before the Storm

Leia shuffled out of bed and slipped her blue, shimmersilk night gown over her soft skin.  Normally she doesn’t sleep nude but she decided to make this one exception, considering the fact that she was on one of the hottest planets in the known galaxy.  Even at night, the air was still warm.

Quietly, Leia made her way into the living room.  She had to step around R2, who was plugged into a power pack at the head of the couch, and next to the door.  As she stepped around him, she looked down at Luke on the couch.  Luke squirmed in his sleep then a huge grin crossed his face.

Leia smiled to herself.  “Whatever Luke was dreaming about had to be something good,” she thought to herself.

Still smiling she looked down at Lando lying on the floor.  Leia still didn’t know what to think about him.  Lando had betrayed them all at Bespin, but he did get Dash Rendar to help out with finding Han and getting to the bottom of the assassination attempts on Luke’s life.  Chewbacca was lying next to Lando.  An odd couple those two made on the floor.  C-3PO was sitting upright in a chair next to the door. He too was plugged into a power pack.

Leia tip-toed her way over to the door and ever so quietly opened it.  As she stepped out into the early Tatooine morning, she noticed the first of the two suns beginning its ascent into the clear sky.  The crisp air caressed her face, causing her to shiver slightly.  As she looked up at the sky, her thoughts dwelled on Han.  He was trapped somewhere in Jabba’s Palace, still encased in carbonite.  Tomorrow the droids will be sent out to deliver a message to Jabba.

“That scum will probably just laugh it off.  I’m sure he’ll think that Luke is crazy,” she said quietly to herself.

Luke.  What were her feelings about him?  She felt a strong bond with him, but nothing like the love she felt for Han.  She was caught off-guard when she first saw Luke.  His young face hiding the fact that he was as brave as any one of the older, more experienced fighters within the rebellion.

“Luke did blast his way into the detention area of an Imperial battle station to rescue me,” Leia quietly said to herself.   “So maybe he is crazy.”

But Han, he was the one who really caught her attention.  She loved Han and her heart ached with the thought of him trapped in Jabba’s Palace.  Her mind drifted back to their encounter on Cloud City.  A brief smile crept across her lips as she recalled the events of that day.

It was shortly after they had arrived on Bespin.  Han’s friend Lando had given her some food, clothes, and the most beautiful quarters she had ever seen.

“Sure beats the hell out of my quarters back on Yavin,” she remembered telling him.  Feeling extremely dirty from helping Han fix the Falcon, she had decided to take a bath.

Leia slowly got out of the tub, her long hair clinging to her skin, trickling water across her back.  Droplets of water crept down her gorgeous body.  Soap suds slid across her sensuous curves.  She grabbed a towel and began drying herself off.  Starting with her long slender legs, she worked her way up and over her perfectly rounded hips, across her tight stomach, and up to her succulent breasts.  She dried off her arms and the rest of her body and wrapped the towel around her.  She ran her hands through her hair several times and tied it into a pony tail.

She left the bathroom and entered the bedroom.  Her clothes were laid out on her bed.  As she made her way to them she heard the bedroom door open.  She spun around to see Han standing there, grinning.

“You shouldn’t be in here,” she said placing her hands on her hips.

“I had to see you,” he replied.

“Well, you see me now,” she said, holding her arms out and turning around, letting him look at her from all sides.

The grin on his face grew as he walked up to her.  “You are absolutely beautiful.”  He stood less than two feet from her.  He could smell the soft aroma of fresh roses emanating from her body.

“You really know how to sweet talk a girl, don’t you Captain?”

“You have no idea, Princess.”  Han leaned down and kissed her soft lips.

She pressed her lips against his, letting the towel fall to the floor, and wrapping her arms around him.

Han slipped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.  Their lips pressed tightly against one another, neither of them wanting to let go of the other.  Finally, they broke their embrace long enough to catch their breath.

“Han, there is something I need to tell you.”

“It can wait,” Han said as he kissed her again.

He kissed her lips, her chin, then down her neck, and down to her chest, stopping just short of her breasts.  He went up and kissed her left ear then down across the side of her neck then down to her shoulder.

Leia was breathing harder now.  Her heart felt like it was beating ten times faster than normal.

Han allowed himself a small smirk then proceeded to kiss her right ear.  He kissed his way down the side of her neck, across her right shoulder and began to kiss the front of her neck again.  He worked his way down between her breasts, down across her belly, stopping at the waist.  His hands slid down her body coming to a rest on her hips.

Han looked up and saw that her eyes were closed, her head was tilted back, and her breathing was becoming more and more rapid.  He kissed the top of her right knee then slowly kissed his way up her leg, moving slowly towards the inside of her thigh.  He kissed further and further up, stopping just before reaching her hip.  He moved over to her left leg, torturing Leia with more sensual kisses.

He heard a small moan of pleasure escape from Leia’s lips.  As he stood up, he slowly ran his fingers along her inner thighs and across her belly, finally resting on her breasts.  Ever so gently, he massaged them in his hands, his thumbs rubbing on her sensitive nipples.  Leia moaned once more.

Han kissed her lips again, catching her off guard.  The princess immediately regained her composure and wrapped her arms around his neck.  Leia slid her tongue into Han’s mouth, teasing the scoundrel.

Han knew what Leia was doing but he wasn’t about to let her gain the upper hand.  He broke the kiss just long enough to pick her up in his arms and lay her on the bed.  He threw her clothes off onto the floor and proceeded to remove his.  Han knelt down between her legs and kissed her breasts.  He took each nipple between his teeth and gave them a playful pinch.  He then kissed his way down her stomach, stopping between her legs.  Leia inhaled sharply….

As Leia’s mind recalled these events, her left hand had moved down over the night gown and was massaging her breast; her right hand had drifted down between her legs.  As memories of Han pleasuring her filled her mind, Leia’s fingers explored the inside of her body.

She leaned back against the wall of the house; the cold surface was in sharp contract to the heat of her skin.  As the memory of her climax with Han passed so did the waves of pleasure on Tatooine.  For several minutes she stood against the wall, her chest heaving from the intense feelings of pleasure she just felt and the emptiness that was in her heart.

Suddenly she heard a loud thud, followed by some equally loud cursing.  Leia quickly composed herself, straightening out the wrinkles in her gown, and getting her breathing back under control before she opened the door and stepped inside the house.

"This worthless piece of junk did it on purpose, I tell you,” Lando said to Luke.

“I don’t think he did it on purpose, Lando,” Luke replied, lifting R2 off the floor.

     “What happened?” asked Leia.

“I got up to go fix some breakfast and I was tripped by the over-grown trash can.”

R2 gave a long series of beeps and whistles.

“I think he just insulted you Lando,” Leia remarked.

“If he keeps it up he’ll be the new hood ornament on the Falcon.”

R2 made another series of beeps then rolled along into the bedroom.

“I hate droids,” Lando said as he continued his way into the kitchen.

Luke noticed that Leia hadn’t entered from the bedroom.  “What were you doing outside?” Luke asked.

“Nothing,” she said with a shrug.  “I just wanted to see the suns rise.”  She hoped Luke didn’t sense that she was lying.  Being friends with a Jedi wasn’t always a good thing.

“So, are we all set for tomorrow?” she asked, hoping to change the subject.

“Well, R2 is ready.  Lando and Chewie will be heading out shortly.  The only one I am concerned about is Threepio.” Luke replied.

“Well, I’m gonna go get ready.  Call me when breakfast is ready.”

Luke looked off at Threepio, wondering for a moment how upset the droid will be when he hears the message that R2 will play for Jabba.  Just for a second, Luke smiled, wishing that he could be there to see Threepio’s reaction.

As Leia headed off into the bedroom only one thought concerned her.  The successful rescue of the man she loved.
