Dream on my dear
And renounce temporal obligations
Dream on my dear
It's a sleep from which you may not awaken

Nancy sucked in a breath at the cold steel running across her skin. [This is wrong…]
"Feels right, doesn't it."
Not a question. A statement of fact. It was wrong – but they couldn't help it. They needed this, needed each other, needed the warmth and the human contact in their respective exiles. She turned to face him, raising her arms in supplication and confusion. Desire glazed his eyes, as she knew it glazed hers. And oh, those eyes; delicate crystal summer-sky blue, pulling her in and entrancing her

Slender fingers traced over ancient burns, long scarred over.
"Do they still hurt?"
"I got used to it."
Metal claws twined in her hair, running over her scalp with infinite gentleness – and how strange to be the recipient of his delicacy and care. She hadn't thought him capable… but she'd never really thought. Not about him. Not until her death had they both learned to see. She relaxed against him, conscious only of his touch, his feel, his voice murmuring to her

It had been so long, waiting. Watching as she grew from girl to woman, not fully understanding what drew him to her. Mistaking aching desire for animal lust and lashing out in his confusion. And now here she was, warm and soft in his arms.
The world narrowed and went away, leaving just the two of them.

Freddy kissed her temple, murmuring words of adoration. He craved her, her softness and beauty and gentle fire. He had been lost to her from the first moment he peered at her through the steam; caught in her sapphire eyes. Nancy clung to him, shivering, and he reveled in the extremity of her reactions. He could make her want, make her fear…

Without warning, he yanked her head back, forcing her to look at him. She gazed at him, eyes clouded with need. No – with want. Desire. It was what drove them to each other; death shatters all illusions. He let go of her hair and pulled her closer, hands pressed against her back. She slid her arms around him, gasping and clinging to his sweater when he bit softly at the side of her neck.
"Oh!"
"Shhh…"
Responding to his unspoken command, the dreamscape shifted and changed. He lay her down on the bed, moving on top of her and kissing her deeply.

Nancy was floating, almost, anchored only by his touch. She wasn't sure what she wanted, only that she didn't want him to stop. It felt so good… she arched against him, blushing a little as she felt the effect she was having on him. He exhaled and she moaned at the feel of his breath across her neck. Every sense seemed heightened; she was drowning in him, lost in sensation.
Freddy moved down her neck, nipping and sucking. He nuzzled the hollow of her throat and she gasped at the feeling of air on her suddenly naked body. He propped himself up on one arm, staring intently at her, while his razor claws gently stroked her side. She shivered at the cool metal and her exposure, too lost in sensation to do anything except lie there and let him touch her.

The blades caressed her stomach and fell away. She heard the dim clatter of metal on concrete and when next he touched her, his hand was ungloved. He slid it under her back and drew her up, bending his scarred head to suckle her breasts. Nancy half sat up and drew him closer, kissing his burnt flesh. Her fingers caught on the material of his sweater and she grimaced in frustration, pushing him back a little and tugging at the hem. Freddy chuckled darkly and pulled it off, pouncing on her and pushing her back down on the mattress.
"Impatient, aren't you?"
"Well, it's not exactly fair, you've got more clothing on."
"We'll have to see what we can do about that…"
And she spun away in a world of touch and feeling, digging her fingernails into Freddy's back and crying out as he kissed her other lips, drinking deeply.

Nancy lay beneath him, supple and warm. He looked down at her, catching her gaze and she smiled, tilting her hips in obvious invitation. A swift growl and mental order later he was pushing inside her, groaning at the warmth. They moved together, heat building, and he forced himself to slow and remember grace. She grasped him and urged him forward, her expression one of complete abandon and he let himself go, the world shattering around them as they clung to each other…

In the gentle dark, Fred Charles Krueger woke from the usually-dreamless trance that passed for sleep in the dreamscape, shuddering with something he refused to name. [That dream again…]
