River Rapids
Book 2
Chapter 10
The young blood, named D’Nang remained with the Ooman in the vehicle. He’d made several stops to different food places, carrying out both pre cooked, and packaged raw foods, way too much for just himself and his work college. On the move once more, the male made several hard turns, heading more and more inland, till at last he came to a stop at a storage building. D’Nang couldn’t read the Ooman words, but the symbols of the words above the building door, were the same shape as the symbols affixed to the side of the vehicle he was in. This had to be their home base.
The male got out, taking the bags of food with him, and headed inside. D’Nang entered through a roof vent, easy for him to pass through unnoticed. He followed the male through the structure to one of the back rooms, where he pressed a button under the communications device. Part of the floor then opened up, swinging up on huge spring powered hinges. Before D’Nang could follow the male below however, the hatch closed. Carefully he followed the male through an underground tunnel where it opened to one of many larger rooms. Before he lost sight of the male, due to some kind of ground interference; possibly water, he spotted one other male. D’Nang then sat back in the corner and waited.
As a hunter, waiting was a big part of the hunt, and how well one contained their enthusiasm, dictated how well the hunt would go, and how successful the hunter. As he waited, he used his mask and its mapping program to scan and map what he could see of the underground structure. It would come in handy later.
“It’s about fucking time,” Heeno snapped, seeing the young man step into the room with the bags.
“Sorry man,” he offered. “You stuck me with Warez, and he bailed, just like I said he would. I had to take Lynch. Once he was settled into the work, I left for the food, then here. Next time will you listen when I tell you Warez is up to something?”
“I’ll take care of him, don’t worry about that.” The two looked up as a woman from another room started to scream. “Oh hell. JONES!! God damn it JONES! Leave her alone! She’s not paid for yet!!”
The woman’s cries softened somewhat, as another man called back. “Oh come on Heeno, just once. I only want to ass fuck her once.”
“For the last time, NO! Now get your dickless ass up here!! The food’s arrived!”
They heard the clattering of metal chains on concrete, and the shuffling of feet, as a 6’5” man jogged in from another room. “Good,” he said, shaking his head of brown curls. “I’m starved.”
“Not for you, moron, for them. I want you to dose ‘em good. I want them quiet all day. We’ll have fun with a couple tonight.”
“Ok, but I gotta be careful. There’s only so many violent patients I can claim smashed my rig.”
“What ever, just put it in the food.”
“Ok.”
“How’s the water?” Heeno asked of the first man, as he broke up cooked chunks of meat and laid the pieces over a dozen plates.
“All fixed. Each hose has one of the tranquilizer capsules attached. If they don’t get dosed with the food, they will with the water.”
“Good. Ok, lets go.”
“You sure that’s enough?” Jones asked of the meager helpings, after releasing a clear liquid over the surface of the food.
“I wand to sustain them, not fatten them. We sell sexual servants, besides, the buyers form China want skinny, not fat and chunky.”
“I was only asking.” The two followed Heeno into the next room, where they slid the small food plates across the floor to the chained women. After a short time, watching the women eat and drink, the men left them, Heeno making a mental note as to which of the women would be th focus of their attentions that night. He passed once more an empty cell, the chains hanging across the floor. A sly smile spread across his lips.
“I’ll soon have Chonie in that spot. The buyer wants her specially trained. Apparently he likes to whip his girls, so I’ll have to get her used to pain.”
“You want a whip?” asked Jones, rubbing his still hard flesh through his pants. “I hear latex tubing, like the IV tubes in my rig, make dandy marks.”
“Good, see that you have a god length of it available tomorrow night. Chonie will be our guest for a few days before the buyer arrives.”
“Will do.”
“And quit jerking yourself through your pants, fuck.”
“Hey, I want to fuck one of ‘em!”
“FINE! The one on the end, the buyer backed out. Fuck her!!”
Jones suddenly had a horrendously evil smile, and strode into the cell at the end. The girl tried to cry out, only to be slapped repeatedly, then her cries of pain and fear echoed off the walls, as Jones’ grunts of exhurtion were heard between each cry. Soon enough both were silent, and Jones rejoined Heeno and the other man, and returned topside.
Heeno handed out some money to the two men, then thy all left.
Once the doors closed, a low growl could be heard in the room, and once the vehicles had all left the yard, the floor hatch opened again, and dust scuffed off each step, as an unseen figure descended the stairs.
D’Nang followed the well trodden path through the dirt-floored structure, the scent of blood reaching his nose even through his mask’s filters. The main chamber consisted of bottles, piping, wires for lights, and a table and a few chairs. There were small containers that must have contained medicine, most likely to keep the imprisoned females docile. He proceeded through the only other door, to a series of cells. The first was empty, the rest were occupied by females. Twelve in all. All were chained by their hands and necks. One however was chained to the floor, her limbs spread wide, obviously uncomfortable. He watched her as she fought with the chains, trying to reach a plate of food just out of reach of her fingers.
He thought about pushing the plate closer, but decided not to. Her captors obviously wanted her to suffer in her torment, any indication that she’d been aided would not be good for her, nor any of the others. He turned away, following the scent of blood to the last cell. There curled up at the back wall, a young female, barely of proper breeding age he was sure, huddled crying, a small trickle of blood along the floor. Carefully scanning her, he discovered her injuries, though not life threatening, the bleeding from her rear passage was subsiding. He inwardly scoffed. Why would anyone want to mate that way? The result was always the same. Pain, and no offspring. He couldn’t understand it.
His mapping of the underground prison complete, and his final scans made, he returned to the upper level, making sure no one was around above, he found the release lever, closed the hatch from above, and headed back to the resting house where Tan’ock would be awaiting his report. He’d not expected to have this much success the first time out. Obviously these Oomans had been doing this for a while, and now they were getting sloppy. He quickly checked where the tagged vehicle was, and h was right. It had also returned to the resting house. He growled to himself, satisfied of the events that took place. Then headed back to the shore line, going over the massive hills instead of the meandering streets the vehicle had followed.
Tan’ock would be pleased, and each hunter would have a kill. Three bad bloods, three hunters, and he was sure Tan’ock would take the leader, which was only right.
Chonie regarded the dress she wore in the full length mirrors around her. Her father had insisted on buying her at least ten dresses, and a traditional Chinese dressmaker was in the multicultural district, putting the traditional designs of simple dresses, with the material patterns of the Hawaiian culture. The result was very delightful.
After picking out several gowns, Ro ushered her into one of the change rooms, making sure, Tan’ock stayed out with them, each time she changed. Many of the floral patterned gowns, though fit her well, didn’t look good on her. The design of the images just wasn’t her. They settled on a white gown with a single flower design coming up the right side, a solid red, and solid blue, and a black one with white trim around the hem, arm holes and neck line. Though these were nice, there weren’t enough of the dresses in the shop to purchase. So the four would have to do.
As she modeled the red dress, she smiled, though it wasn’t entirely by her own choice. Tan’ock had moved behind her, and was purring right into her ear. She could feel the muzzle of his mask gently touch her shoulder, and the vibrations from his chest resonate inside her body. “What are you doing?” she whispered quietly, noting the sales clerk just behind her in the mirror.
“Admiring what I will have,” he replied.
“Me? Fat chance.”
“More than chance. Fact, no fat about it. Keep this one on. I like how it hugs your body.”
“No.”
“You will have to. I tore your shirt to pieces.” At his gentle chuckle she stalked off to the change room, where she grabbed the remains of her blouse. Well at least he didn’t lie. She tossed the remains of her shirt and her skirt into her bag, then stepped out still wearing the red dress. She felt her arm brush his chest as she gathered the rest of the clothing from the chair outside.
“You’ll have to replace that you know,” she whispered.
“You’ll have to come to the ship to collect,” he chided.
“In your delusions.” And she walked away.
‘I MUST MATE WITH HER!’ he thought, purring loudly as her delightful scent reached through his mask. She may have given off the attitude that she hated him, but her body wanted him, and from her scent, she wanted him desperately.
“AMANDA!!! Check the back, I think the door is open!” called a sales clerk.
“Why?” came the reply from behind the storage room gate.
“THE DAMN CAT’S IN HERE AGAIN!!!” and she began pushing the clothing aside on the racks, looking for the animal. Tan’ock moved away, his purrs stopped. His female had moved off, joining her grandfather and his friend at the counter near the front.
Outside, Chonie convinced the two old men to return to the hotel for a while. She needed to check in with her boss to adjust the work scheduled so she could make up for the time she was away. Once back, the two men went to their room for a rest, and Chonie went to the manager’s office to talk. Tan’ock ended up on the outside of the door, but from what he could hear, it wasn’t a pleasant conversation inside. It was all he could do to keep from ripping the door off and killing the shouting male inside.
“You expect to just come back, after deserting us for over a month!?”
“My grandfather needed me,” she replied.
“I DON’T CARE!! You were supposed to return in two weeks. NOW YOU WANT YOUR JOB BACK!!!”
“I NEVER QUIT!”
“NO YOU WERE FIRED!!”
“FINE!!! KEEP YOUR STINKING JOB!!! YOU CAN JUST KISS MY ASS!!!”
Tan’ock was lucky to not be right at the door when she opened it, otherwise she would have run right into him.
“DON’T COME BACK!!!”
“I’LL CHECK MY GRANDFATHER OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE! I’M SURE YOU WON’T HAVE NEED OF HIS MONEY!!!” She pushed passed the receptionist as she tried to come in the door, and headed back to the front of the hotel.
“She didn’t give her employee discount to that old coot!”
“No sir,” the receptionist replied. “He paid in full. I’ve been reconciling the books of late, and he paid. In cash. Extended period of stay, so for one night, that’s a hell of a lot of money we’ll have to refund him.”
“Oh shit!”
In the elevator to the executive suite, Tan’ock began to purr, trying to consol his crying female. But it didn’t do much good. “STOP IT!!” she shrieked. “I DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT!!!” She felt him move up to her, and she began to hit his chest. “JUST STOP!! I DON’T WANT YOU!!!” He just stood there, letting her hit him, with each strike, the force became less and less, till she finally stopped, and sobbed against his chest. “SHIT I HATE THIS PLACE!!!”
Slowly he thread his arms around her, purring even louder. “Then leave this place. Come with us, be at my side. Become my mate. You will want for nothing. Material things that Oomans collect here mean nothing. Where we will go is simple. And the beauty of your surroundings will be more than you can possibly imagine. Come with us.”
“Why? Why do you want me? I’m nothing! I’m horrible, ugly. Why would you want someone like me?”
“Why did you remain with the old one for so long? Why did you not respond to your intended, when you communicated with him, as you respond to me? You know these answers. You just need time to accept them. I ill give you all the time you need. But come with us. Come with ME. We will mate when you are ready, but come with us. Your grandfather will be pleased, you will be happy to be near him. You’ve nothing left here.”
She turned her tear filled eyes to his cloaked face. “I have Heeno.”
At that he growled. “He is planning something.”
“Yeah, a dinner to apologize.”
“No. Something far worse.”
“What, a wedding would be worse to you?”
“What is wedding?”
“A ceremony where we state to others our intention to be life time partners. Can you say that you have a ceremony like that?”
he chuckled, resting his chin on the top of her head. “Oh yes, and more. But heed my warning. This Heeno Male plans horrible things for you. He is a bad blood.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“You will. Because when he makes his move to hurt you, I will be there.” ‘And I will kill him.’
The doors opened to the executive level, and Chonie let herself and Tan’ock inside. “Heed me,” she said quietly, noting her grandfather sleeping in the easy chair by the balcony doors. “Heeno and I are ment to be. You can’t handle that, then go away. Don’t ever come back. I can always get another job. I can’t get another Heeno.”
The door secure, Tan’ock dropped his cloak, and watched her walk away, draping a throw cover over her grandfather, then taking a seat on the sofa herself. Then at the balcony doors, he saw a familiar distortion of the scenery. Quickly shifting his mask’s vision, he saw one of the young bloods motioning for him to come to the roof. He nodded and stood next to Chonie. “Do not leave this room again without me.”
“You don’t ord-” her words were cut short by his sudden hiss as he turned sharply to her. She just crossed her arms then and turned away.
“Do not leave without me. That is final!” and he strode out the balcony doors, his cloak coming on as he went.
Chonie leaned over and picked up one of the tourist brochures, rapidly flipping through it. How dare he order her! He didn’t own her! She tossed the brochure down, kissed her grandfather’s head, and left, taking the elevator to the main lobby. If anything, she could catch a cab back to her apartment, and get a change of clothes, not to mention new groceries for the apartment.
When the doors opened, Heeno grabbed both her arms, and pinned her to the back of the elevator, kissing her madly. She didn’t demand for him to stop, and responded as enthusiastically, as she could. The doors closed, and he stood up. “Hello to you too,” she said happily. “I got fired. How was your day?”
“Looking better and better all the time. I’m sorry.”
“I kno-” she felt a sharp pain in her side, and looked down to see a syringe in his hand, jabbed deep into her abdomen. “Heeennoooo…”
Quickly he pressed the button for the lower garage level, where he knew the cameras were not working. When the doors opened, Jones was there, disguised in a Heeno Landscaping Uniform, riving one of Heeno’s company trucks. Once Chonie was secure in the rear of the truck, the two sped off out of the hotel, heading back to the hide away they had. The medication was fast acting, but often didn’t last long, depending on the metabolism of the victim. If all went well, Chonie would be just coming too when the chains were secured to her wrists.
This night was going to be fun.
Tan’ock strode up to the two young bloods, shaking each of their shoulders in turn of their seniority. The older one seemed to have had quite the adventure, his back armor plating was covered in broken leaves and twigs. The other, smelled horrible. He grunted to each, then stepped back, consequently up wind of both of them. “What have you learned?” he asked.
The smelly one spoke first. “The one I followed here, is very odd, and lazy. The most vigorous activity that I’d seen him engage in was inhaling food, and those smoking sticks the Oomans use to pollute themselves with.”
“He is not involved with the Heeno male in taking the females?”
“Not that I observed today. But I am not prepared at this time to rule it out.”
“Very good. D’Nang, what of you?”
D’Nang puffed his chest, then shifted the function of his gauntlet from record mode, to display mode. “I found the hide out where they are keeping the females.”
This brought Tan’ock’s full attention, just as he was focusing on a Heeno truck that was emerging from the building. “WHAT!!”
“Observe.” The first that displayed was a map of the island, a bright yellow line showing the most direct rout over the mountains to the hiding place. “It is the base of operations for the Heeno male’s business. He has dug an underground prison, with only one entrance or exit. The foolish male. At present there are twelve females being held. All chained to the wall, chain length about half my height, connected at the wrists.”
“How are they fairing?” Tan’ock asked.
“Fairly well. Most have been drugged. Forced into sleep by drugs laced in their food and water supply. I analyzed what I could find. There is a huge water tank just above the main chamber. The scans you see were taken after I entered the facility. Thing is, one female was already assaulted just today. Though her wounds are not serious, she still bled.”
“Did you lend her aid?”
“No sir. To do such would alert her captors that someone else had been there. When she is rescued, I will make sure she gets to a healer.”
“Good.”
“I have also identified two other males, in addition to the one that I followed. One is a healer’s assistant. His vehicle was at the side of the building. The other two are with this Heeno company.”
“Would you recognize them again?”
“Better than that. I got scans of each of them in full detail as thy exited the facility.” Tapping a couple of buttons, three images began to appear. “This is the on that I followed, this one is the healer’s assistant, but I’m not sure who this one is, though he seems to be the pack leader.”
Tan’ock growled deep and long. “Heeno!” he said, in growling tones. “He’s mine!!”
“I thought you’d want him,” the young one stated. “He said he’d try and take Chonie prisoner tonight. I’m sure you’ll be ready.”
“Oh yes,” Tan’ock hissed, his body vibrating with the thought of the harm he’d do to Heeno should he lay a hand on his Chonie. “I will be.
