EXECUTOR: MEDICAL LAB
Vader paced in front of the entrance of the medical lab, his hands behind his back. Several times he stopped and looked toward the door, debating whether or not to go in. Deciding he'd waited long enough he burst in and confronted the senior technician on duty.
“Well, have you completed your testing?” he asked gruffly.
The lab tech hesitated. “Ah, yes, my Lord, one of the tests has been completed. However, we are still waiting for one more.” He clutched his clipboard nervously.
“What have you found so far?” Vader tilted his head, indicating he was getting impatient.
The tech cleared his throat and flipped through the pages on the clipboard. “Well, it seems that the midichlorian levels are not as high as yours, my Lord. We took into consideration the size of the specimen and adjusted our calculations accordingly so that we could get a more accurate reading. We repeated the test three times, and each time we got the same count.”
Vader considered the information. He walked over the table where Luke’s severed arm lay encased in a see-thru, air-tight container. Just then a uniformed officer entered and handed the senior tech a slip of paper. Looking it over, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. His face went white when Vader snatched the paper from his hand.
Vader read the report in disbelief. Furious, he ripped the paper to shreds. Raising his fists in the air he let out a series of terrifying screams. “WHY? WHY? That.....BITCH! I have been betrayed for the last time!”

His black cape flowing behind him, Vader stormed the corridors towards Kelly’s private chambers. He burst in her rooms and found her in the ‘fresher standing before the mirror brushing her long tresses.
She was wearing a white silken robe that had been left open revealing her naked form. Kelly turned upon hearing his heavy breathing. Smiling, she ran into his arms and buried her head against his chest.
“I’m so glad you’re here.” she purred, running her lips over his leather suit.
When Vader did not return her advances, she stepped back and looked at him quizzically.
“What’s wrong?” She asked, miffed by his lack of affection.
“We need to talk.” He led her to the bed and motioned for her to sit down.
Kelly waited patiently as he paced back and forth. It was several minutes before he spoke.
“I never told you what transpired between Luke and I on Bespin.” he began, choosing his words carefully, “It is much better to know the truth, as ugly as it may be.” Pausing, he looked to the ceiling and continued. “In order for us to have a future together, I must be honest with you about my past.”
Kelly was speechless. “Future together? He wants a future with me?” The impact of his words shocked her. She was roused from her thoughts by Vader’s baritone voice.
“I don’t expect you to be able to understand everything I tell you. I hope that after I do, you will still want to stay with me.” He took her hands in his. Suddenly he seemed very weary, as if the weight of the world were on his shoulders.
“I will stay with you, no matter what you have to tell me! It won’t change the way I feel. I...I.....I love you.” Kelly jumped up, throwing her arms around him once more. “There! I said it! I admit it, I love him. I love this dark, mysterious and tortured man, whom I know absolutely nothing about.”
Vader lightly placed his fingers to her forehead. “Yes, your mind is open to me. I feel your love for me is pure and unselfish. I wish I had been able to use this power before, I would have known......” he voice trailed off.
He embraced her and said. “I feel the same about you, my Earth girl. Nothing I own means more to me than you. Before you came into my life, I was but half a man. It was you, untainted by the rumors and news reports about me , that was brave enough to look beneath the mask and see me for who I really am. You have made me feel whole.”
Pulling away, he gently sat her back down on the bed. Then he told her as much of his past that he thought she could handle. He told her about Padme, his wife, and how he thought for a long time that he had been responsible for her death. And about Obi Wan, his mentor and friend who had made him this way. He told her about the Emperor and how he was indebted to him for saving his life when Obi Wan had left him for dead. He revealed to her his shock upon learning that the one responsible for destroying the Death Star was none other than his very own son, Luke Skywalker.
He explained his desperate search for Luke, hoping his son would join him in overthrowing the Emperor. But an unexpected twist of fate allowed Palpatine the opportunity to poison Luke’s mind, thus convincing him he would gain more power if he destroyed the Sith Lord.
“But Luke failed to defeat me on Bespin. I may have killed him had you not interrupted me. It was something you said that reminded me of what I had given up before. I realized I didn’t want to go down that path again, so I chose to go with you instead.”
Kelly tried to absorb everything he said. Vader, at one time married and had a son who just happened to be Luke! Her Luke. And now he was telling her that his very own son was trying to kill him. She couldn’t believe Luke was capable of such a thing. “Oh shit, if he ever knew what I did with Luke he might kill us both!”
“There’s more.” Vader said, his voice taking on a more malignant tone.
“More?” Kelly asked incredulously, bracing herself for another revelation.
“Yes, I had Luke’s severed arm retrieved from Bespin and brought on board for testing. Apparently the DNA results show that Luke is NOT my son after all.”
“Then who IS Luke’s father?” Kelly asked. As soon as the words left her lips she regretted saying them.
“It was the ultimate betrayal, and by the two I loved and trusted the most! I don’t think Luke even knows the truth himself. Nor does the Emperor for that matter. I am sure of it!” Vader walked to the only window in the room and looked out at the blackness of space.
“Obi Wan is Luke’s father.” He said evenly, his blue eyes turning amber.
