Thanks to everyone who has been so patient!

Brenda- here ya go, the next chapter. s'not much, but it's something!

KateM.- Thanks! Hopefully it'll get a bit better, hehe

Capt_Davy_Jones_Lover- I hate her too, all because of one scene in AWE... when she was locked up in the brig, and Davy goes to her, and she's all like, "if I had been there, would you still love me? -puppy dog eyes-" BLEGH! -glares off into space- And yeah, sorry for the false update there, but here's the next chapter, and I hope you enjoy it!

Jem- Thank you thank you THANK YOU for reminding me about Loreena's song! I knew I had forgotten something! But yeah, I merged the chapters, as you suggested I should, and now the new one is here! Hopefully you'll check out this chapter too, and lemme know if I buggered anything up TOO bad, hahaha (for real though, please? I'll give you a cookie!)

Chapter 2

“What do ye think the Cap’n’s gonna do’ to ‘er?”

Palifico shrugged, a few pieces of coral tumbling to the deck. He turned his eyes toward Penrod. The small lobster-like man teetered on a crate, attempting to peer through the window of the captain’s cabin. It was a rather amusing spectacle, as the tip of his rather pointy head barely came up to the lower pane.

Sidling up to the window, Maccus brought the club of his gun down sharply on the little man’s head.

“Oi! Bugger off, an’ le’ the Captain do what he will! ‘E don’t need the likes o’ you spyin’ on ‘im!”

Penrod bristled, clutching his skull. “Piss off, Maccus! Yer jus’ jealous cuz the Cap’n got to her first!”

Maccus bared his sharp teeth in a growl, and viciously kicked the crate out from under Penrod’s feet. He crashed to the ground, landing in a pile of rope and seaweed. Jumping up, rope tangled around him, Penrod launched himself at Maccus, tackling him around the middle, and sending them both tumbling into Hadrus.

Palifico merely shook his head, and turned towards Koleniko. Holding up a bottle of rum, the tall reef-like figure pointed towards the Crow’s Nest. Koleniko chuckled and nodded, and they left their brawling crewmates on the deck.

Davy unceremoniously shoved the girl into a seat at his table, ignoring her small squeak of pain as her bottom struck a sea-urchin residing in the chair. He paced to his organ, and sat at the bench. This new development gave him quite a headache. He squeezed his eyes shut as he massaged his temples with his hand, then turned, stood again and stalked back over to her.

“Do ye not know who I am, girl?”

A nod. Good, then he didn’t need to explain.

“Then, if ye know who I am, why would ye come aboard my ship, causing all sorts of trouble among my men? And why, would you masquerade as a ghost, when ye are very plainly NOT?”

Silence. He felt his head begin to pound. His eyes narrowed. Still silent. Then…

“I was very nearly sure I was a ghost, sir…”

Her reply was timid, shy. Davy rounded on her, bracing his hand and claw on the arms of the chair, effectively trapping her in her seat. Her response was to shrink back slightly, but Davy could see in her eyes a flare of color.

“What is your purpose here?! Do ye find some sort of pleasure in tormenting superstitious sailors?”

His face was close to hers. He could feel her breath on his face, warm, moist… Her tongue darted from her mouth and wetted her lips, and his eyes could not leave them. A blush of red colored her face, and it suited her, he thought, his mind wandering… Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she looked around the cabin again. It had begun to lighten considerably.

She raised a hand between them, and stared at it in shock. Davy’s gaze followed hers. He jerked back.

“M-maybe, sir… Maybe I am a ghost after all..?”

The opaque appendage was beginning to fade. Wiggling her fingers, she met his eyes.

“Was it all a dream…?” Her eyes closed. Her body began fading.

Swiftly, Davy reached out and grasped her wrist. Her eyes flew open, fear written on her face.

His tentacle finger slithered up her wrist, entangling itself in her fingers.

“Who are you?” His voice was quiet, but still rough, and he was clearly agitated. She smiled understandingly.

“No one special, sir. Just a lost soul, I suppose.”

“No! Give me yer name!” He was angry again, his voice raised.

“Very well, sir… Chelsea Annabelle Wilson, sir.”

She climbed to her feet, standing before him, fingers still entwined with his. Her body was fading rapidly now, as the sun began to rise. Pulling her hand back, it just passed through his. She curtsied to him, and straightened.

“Till next we meet, Captain…” And as the first of the sun’s rays beamed through his window, she disappeared.

A/N: Sorry it took me so long to get that up! I've pretty much been a stick in the mud, completely lost my focus on the story... But I'm back, with a new chapter! Hopefully it's a bit more 'together' than the first chapter. Sorry it's so short, too. But it introduced our little ghostie. Chelsea Annabelle Wilson, eh? Kind of a nice name, I think. Well, keep on checking back, and lemme know what ya think!
