An alternative fate


It was three weeks since Anakin had given birth to Kaden, Padme, Qui-Gon and Shmi Skywalker-Kenobi. Everyone including Anakin’s friends absolutely loved them. And the best part was that you could easily tell them apart from the other.

Kaden was blond, blue eyed and a perfect replica of Anakin. Shmi had Obi-wan golden reddish hair and greenish blue eyes, but was a female version of Anakin when it came to her features. Padme was Blond like Anakin but had Obi-wan’s greenish blue eyes and was a female version of Obi-wan. And finally Qui-Gon was a spitting image of Obi-wan from his hair to his features, but had Anakin’s blue eyes.

While Anakin’s skin was a golden tanned colour from all those years on Tatooine, and Obi-wan’s was a creamy white colour. The quadruplets weren’t either; they were a perfect blend of both skin types all in one. In other words all four Skywalker-Kenobi’s were very beautiful babies. It was evident that when they grew up they would be a group of stunning beautiful women and handsome men.

Anakin was practically back to normal, his stitches would have completely dissolved in another week. Then he would be back to physically putting his son though his paces with a lightsabre in another three weeks time.

Anakin was delighted to discover he had not been left with any stretch marks, when Moira had warned before hand that there had been a possibility that he could very well have been plagued with such marks. And with extensive training on his body for the next four to six months, would have Anakin back to the way he had been before he had gotten pregnant.

And much to Obi-wan’s delight Anakin was now repulsed by any kind of fish products and spicy dressings. The mere smell and sight of fish was enough to send his husband and mate balking. He still loved his pasta, but that was eaten in away that at least could be considered a normal and edible fashion.

Luke and Leia loved their new baby brothers and sisters. They at first had of course had a brief moment of jealousy, but those feelings were soon squashed by Anakin and Obi-wan. They told them, that they still loved them as much as they did their new baby brothers and sisters, and they always would, that nothing in the entire galaxy could ever change that, and that as their big brother and sister, it was their duty to love them and look out for them.

But at the moment their brothers and sisters needed more help, that they and Sirius could help if they wanted to, at the mentioning of helping out with their new siblings and the mentioning of being a big brother and sister, soon changed the tunes of Luke and Leia.

This naturally included Sirius, who was like a second brother to Leia, and loved to tease each other. But Luke and Sirius on the other hand, there was by no mean anything brotherly about those two, but none of the adults were able to put a finger on it. Oh well they were worried, it all seemed innocent enough.

The council had been informed the day after the babies had been born. They were informed the Jedi order had just gained four, future Jedi, with Medi-Chlorian levels of over twenty thousand, and definite inheritance from Anakin who also sported a Medi-Chlorian count of over twenty thousand.

Master Windu and master Yoda and the rest of the council had been greatly pleased. And that they looked forward to when Padme, Kaden, Shmi and Qui-Gon Skywalker-Kenobi were granted the titles of Padawan’s.

Anakin at present was going insane with boredom, which in return caused him to elapse into a habit he had not used since he was seventeen, he whined. Which in return got under Obi-wan’s skin, which in return caused him to feel the need to treat Anakin like a teenager and start calling him Padawan, which infuriated Anakin like nothing else.

Meaning they ended up fired up in one of their infamous arguments, which they hadn’t had since the night Obi-wan discovered Anakin’s marriage to Padme, and his impending father hood to Luke and Leia, which was more then four years ago.

Their fights were verbally brutal meaning they would carry on for hours, and end up not speaking or looking at each other for hours on end. But when they did finally make up and apologise to each other, then everyone tended to make them selves scarce, as making up would turned into a full out make out session between Skywalker and Kenobi.

But it never went any further then that, as Moira had blushed when she had informed them to lay off the more physical nature of their relationship until Anakin’s stitches had completely dissolved. Anakin had smirked when he could see and clearly sense Moira’s embarrassment over having to tell them to lay off making love until Anakin was back to normal, while Obi-wan hadn’t blushed or been amused.
