It would be a couple more hours before the Pearl reached the pier of Sijori Harbor and Jack decided that he would much rather spend those two hours behind the closed door of his cabin with a certain tawny haired lass instead of out on the main deck with all the rest of his crew. Elizabeth had retired into the aforementioned cabin a while ago to get out of the heat. She had mentioned something about it being “positively sweltering” outside and decided to go into the cabin to retreat from the heat. A crooked grin stretched across Jack’s face as he imagined just how his precious Elizabeth would have cooled down. Perhaps she was in his cabin at that very moment lying stretched across his bed in all her naked glory just waiting for him to discover her. Jack chuckled as he ran his fingers through her sweat dampened hair softly. This trip to Singapore just had to pay off for them…he couldn’t lose the woman he loved…not to the whelp. Hell not to anyone…Elizabeth belonged with him and he was going to make sure that never changed.
