Chapter Four
A/N: This may be a short chapter… but it was like pulling teeth! It took me forever to write. No worries the next one will be longer and less filler-y. Everyone welcome my beta Sami to the project. And wish her Happy Birthday, she’s legal! ^_^ (Which is why I can use her as a beta now. *is selfish*) Personal notes at the end. (See chapter one for warnings/disclaimers.)
Chapter Four
Rupert Johnson muttered incessantly under his breath as he walked to the deck of his ship. He took a long deep breath before kicking at one of his worthless, motley band. "You, boy, fetch Albert."
The boy, he couldn't have been more than ten or eleven, nodded, trembled and scurried away. Rupert smiled. This was his preferred effect on people.
That thought brought him to Jack Sparrow. That man was just so, damnably...something. He wasn't quite sure, what though. Most men were considerably more upset at the idea of being used sexually by another man. In fact, most were fairly upset by any sexual ideas involving another man. Though Sparrow did have an odd air about him. For that matter, he even had an odd look about him. The dark eye makeup and the beads gave the man a slightly, but not quite feminine look.
"Cap'n?" the portly fellow, looked up at him.
"Yes, Albert, I did have the boy bring you, didn't I?" Rupert shook his head to clear it. "Tell the crew to make way to Tortuga, we can sell much of our rum there. Also, have Cook bring me some food. Something that smells quite delicious, but would make a man ill to eat."
"Aye, sir. Will that be all, then?"
Captain Johnson nodded swiftly and began walking about the deck of his ship. He bandied curses about, occasionally glared at a crewman, and just generally went about making himself seem the aloof, but very much in control pirate captain. It certainly wouldn't do to have his own crew mutiny. Jack Sparrow's current predicament was certainly not one he would wish on himself.
Though to wish it on someone else, that was certainly reasonable. Especially if that someone was as irritating as the former captain of the Black Pearl.

Mel: Sorry this one was so short… blame Sami, she told me to save the other bit for the next chappie. I’m suresure ‘bout Jack’s char in the last chapter. I may change a few things. But we’ll see.
