EXPLANATORY POST 01- NOT AN UPDATE
Rutaari wonders:
"...I was wondering, though where you say 'Jack proclaimed with utter serenity.' if you meant to say "Jack proclaimed with utter sincerity." Just curious."
Painfulwhispers elaborates:
I did mean 'serenity'. What I tried to bring across was that Jack's expression (calm/peaceful) was deceiving (dark on the inside). I hope that worked lol!

Lydia NightShade questions:
"...I really like how you've portrayed Jack, but I don't quite understand why Will suddenly "died".... it is really interesting though..."
Painfulwhispers explains:
Yeah...haha that was sort of a stretch, but I tried to explain/fix it in chapter 4 & 5. I hope you find that convincing hehe.

Lilith asks:
"great story but there’s one thing I don't understand. Will was raped by Jack and he was almost dead but why all of a sudden he’s „starving, weak and battered for weeks” ? I get the “lost a lot of blood” part but you mean to tell me that Jack treated him like this all the time ?"
Painfulwhispers answers:
Ah...yes. The 'starving, weak, and battered for weeks' refers to the days/weeks before Jack raped Will. After Will revealed to Jack that he still felt he hadhinghing for Elizabeth, he was drowned in shame and guilt that he went through a period of total self-neglect (eating little if any, isolating himself from the rest of the crew, putting damaging stress on his body -- both physically and emotionally). Thus he was fairly weak even before the rape, but his condition worsened a lot more after the 'lost of blood' resulting from the 'incident'. I hope that made sense! If you have anymore comments, please let me know =)

Frankenmuth comments:
"*wants to pet Jack and tell him everything will be okay* (I'm such a sap)
Awe, poor Jack...but, he kinda did...*motions with head* that *grunt*...and...
AGG! Can't decide how to feel!
Write more, so I can make up my mind! *yells* END THE TORMENT!
*Laughs at self*
I'm silly"
Painfulwhispers replies:
Perfect. Ha Not Not trying to be mean, but that's exactly what I'm trying to go for. I, myself, don't even know how I should feel about these characters, much less what should happen to them. We'll just have to see. ;D
