I do not own Troy, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Reunited
Disclaimer: All characters belong to the people who made “Troy” and to Homer, but he’s dead. I only own um, well, the other stuff.

Hector made it un-molested to the shelter. When he pushed the leather strips that covered the entrance aside, it took him a moment to adjust to the dimness inside. But he was startled by what he saw. On the bed, Briseis was lying naked in Achilles' arms. Hector felt a wave of jealousy flow through him and he wondered why. He had slept with his wife that night. He had no reason to be upset at a man, whom he had no claim over, for being with somebody else. He was about to leave, when he saw Achilles' eyes open. The man slid out of the bed, put on a robe, and joined Hector at the entrance. Hector wondered as Achilles bent over to grab something off of the floor, but was distracted by the flash of tan skin and muscle that the robe opened slightly to reveal. Achilles gestured for Hector to exit. Hector followed Achilles around to the back of the shelter, where Achilles laid out what Hector realized was a large blanket. The two men sat down.
"I wasn't sure if you were going to come, and I certainly didn't expect you this early," Achilles said.
"I'm afraid that I'm going to be busy in the early morning, and I wanted to leave us plenty of time." Achilles nodded.
"You'll be happy to know that your cousin is well."
"Yes, I noticed." Both men smiled at this. They sat in silence for a few minutes. Then Achilles spoke again.
"I heard about you and your brother from many people when you went to Sparta to visit Menelaus. I was told many stories of the beauty of Prince Paris. But I mostly heard of the brave and handsome Prince Hector. How even though people at first noticed Paris, once they saw his brother, they couldn't remove their eyes from such strength and poise. And how, when he saw a Spartan woman being beaten in public by her father, he went and told the man that if he wanted the right to beat his children, he would have to fight for it."
Hector couldn’t stop himself from blushing a little. The woman had come to visit him in the palace that night to thank him for saving her from her father. But the kind of thanks she had in mind had been a bit too personal for Hector. He had quite the time of trying to convince the woman that her verbal thanks were enough, and that she didn't need to sleep with him. Achilles continued.
"I had heard stories previously of how you were the best warrior in all of Troy and that many men believed you were better than all of the warriors in Greece as well. So, naturally, when Odysseus came to enlist my aid on behalf of Agamemnon and reminded me of this fact, I couldn't resist the challenge." He moved right next to Hector as he spoke. "But little did I know that I would find my greatest challenge yet. A man who was so much my physical equal, that I wanted to share myself entirely with him." And with these words, they kissed.
