Chapter 7

Chapter 7

The two men had come to an uneasy truce.

Obi-Wan did not speak of Qui-Gon Jinn and Xanatos did not speak of the failings of the Jedi Order. Sometimes, though, when Xanatos would come to their bed at night, there would be an expression of sad preoccupation on his young lover’s face and Xan would know that Obi-Wan thought of /him/.

No matter what Xanatos did or said, he could not completely banish the Jedi Master from Obi-Wan’s thoughts. And Xanatos feared that until thoughts of Jinn no longer had a hold on Obi-Wan, he would not be able to claim the young man’s heart.

They were sharing their morning meal, as they always did when Xanatos did not have an early meeting. He glanced up at Obi-Wan who was half-heartedly perusing the latest news on a data pad.

”How would you like to take a trip?” Xanatos broke the silence.

Obi-Wan looked up with an expression of surprise and put down the piece of fruit that had been halfway to his lips. “Leave Telos?” He asked, sounded both hopeful and disbelieving.

Xan’s lips quirked. “Yes, leave Telos,” he confirmed with a nod of his head.

A grin broke out on Obi-Wan’s handsome face. “I’d love to!”

“Good,” Xan said. “I’ll tell them to prepare my ship.”

“Where are we going?” Obi-Wan asked eagerly, standing up, his eyes bright.

“Does that really matter, little one?” Xan asked fondly.

Shaking his head, Obi-Wan returned the smile. “Not really, I’ll just be glad to see something else-” he said and then he stopped. “I didn’t mean that Telos isn’t beautiful, Xan, but…”

Xan stood up and came around the table to stand at Obi-Wan’s side. He reached out and brushed back the hair that was growing longer with every passing week. The Padawan cut was no longer evident, but the braid was still there, tucked behind Obi-Wan’s ear. “It’s all right, Obi-Wan,” he murmured just before his lips touched the pulse in the boy’s throat.

Obi-Wan groaned and his arms came up to clutch at Xan, his hands grasping at the older man’s shirt. “Xan…” he moaned. “Please…” The words were a plea for Xan to stop, not continue and he recognized them as such. Xanatos pulled away reluctantly.

“Go pack!” He ordered Obi-Wan playfully.

Obi-Wan ran to the door, but then came to an abrupt halt. “Wait, for what kind of climate?”

“Tropical,” Xan replied. “So don’t pack too much clothing!”

The younger man rolled his eyes but smiled and turned around, heading down the corridor.

Xan watched the retreating figure with hungry eyes. “One day, you will tell me you love me,” he murmured, his eyes narrowed.

They landed on a tiny paradise of a planet called Keldor. There was a small welcoming committee waiting for Xanatos and his companion. The four beings bowed respectfully and kept their eyes off of their employer’s young lover.

The rumors had been flying for months now, ever since Obi-Wan had appeared at Xan’s side in public. The young man had lasted far longer than Xanatos’ other companions, and something in his eyes when he glanced at his lover spoke of his need to possess the young man who was seemingly unaware of his lover’s obsession.

Obi-Wan, however, was deeply aware of the depth of Xan’s feelings for him. Even without the Force, it was evident in the bright blue eyes that searched so desperately for some hint of returned feelings in the younger man’s eyes. Anything that might give Xanatos hope that his campaign to win Obi-Wan’s heart was successful, even in a small way.

Now, walking at his side, Obi-Wan almost wished he could return Xan’s feelings. He liked him, which was progress considering how much he should hate him. But so far, the fallen Jedi had not been able to truly touch his heart, not yet. At times it seemed imminent, as if he would fall in love with Xanatos tomorrow, but at others it seemed a distant dream that would elude them both.

Obi-Wan inhaled the fresh, warm air and smiled at Xan, who was watching carefully for his reaction. “Do you like it?’ Xan asked, his gesture encompassing the whole planet.

“It’s lovely,” Obi-Wan answered sincerely.

“I thought so, too,” Xan murmured. “That’s why I bought it – for us…”

The younger man stopped and looked at Xanatos closely. “You own this whole planet?”

Unaccountably shy, Xan shrugged and nodded. “I thought you’d like it here and I…” He shook his head. “Silly really, isn’t it?”

“What’s silly?” Obi-Wan asked in a tender voice as his hand came out to brush away the black hair that the wind had whipped into Xan’s face.

“Trying to impress you…” Xan said. “Trying to make you-” His mouth twisted and he pulled Obi-Wan into his arms, ignoring their audience. His lips crashed down on Obi-Wan’s hard, his lips and tongue demanding a response.

Shock parted his lips and Xan’s tongue swept in immediately, exploring the mouth Xan already knew so well. Xan could feel the tension in Obi-Wan’s body, his reluctance. The older man’s hand ran down Obi-Wan’s backside and then both hands pulled Obi-Wan up against him.

Xan pulled back, panting slightly. “You WILL love me, Obi-Wan,” he snarled, his eyes dark with fury.

Obi-Wan tugged himself out of Xan’s arms and began to walk again.

“Obi-Wan!” Xan’s voice was cold as he called out to his lover.

Whirling around, Obi-Wan stared at Xan but remained silent.

Xanatos approached him slowly, his smile not quite reaching his eyes. He leaned in close and whispered in Obi-Wan’s ear. “I’ve been quite patient, my love,” he said. “But remember that every man has his breaking point.”

With that threat still ringing in his head, Obi-Wan pulled away from Xanatos one more time and hurried ahead, ignoring the cursing behind him.

Obi-Wan was uneasy as he unpacked. Something in Xan’s eyes had been wild and desperate and… His thoughts skittered away from it.

Xan had a meeting and for the moment, the young man was alone. He sat down with a sigh on the balcony and looked out over the ocean that crashed onto the rocks below. The young man could hear nothing beyond the crashing waves and the distant call of birds in the jungle that bordered the small city.

Seated in the comfortable chair and with the soothing rhythms of the waves echoing in his ears, he soon drifted off to sleep, his thoughts untroubled at last.

He was dreaming…

A warm mouth swallowed his cock and he groaned at the heat of it. It was perfection. Thrusting up, he buried his hands in the long, soft hair that swung down and caressed his hips and belly. With each thrust, the silky hair swayed and touched him, kissing his flesh softly. His eyes still closed, he gave himself up to the dream and thrust mindlessly up into the scorching heat of the mouth.

At last, he felt his orgasm crashing over him in time with the sound of the waves far below. His seed spilled into the waiting mouth just as a wave roared into the cliff, water and seed splashing into the haven waiting for it.

Obi-Wan shuddered his completion and let his hands gentle their tight grasp in the mass of hair. He opened his eyes and was shocked not to see the inky black of Xan’s hair and the startling blue eyes that had looked up at him so often from just that position.

The hair was long and brown, lightly touched with silver. Deep blue eyes, full of regret and longing stared up at him.

/Padawan…/

The word echoed in his mind, full of need and sadness.

Obi-Wan came awake with a jolt, the sound of the ocean below still crashing in his ears.

Their dinner was a quiet one, each preoccupied with his own thoughts. Obi-Wan was lost in the memory of the dream that had left his seed warm and sticky on his own belly. Xanatos was contemplating just how much he should tell Obi-Wan. If seduction and lovemaking had not turned Obi-Wan’s heart his way, perhaps the truth would.

Finally, unable to stand the silence any longer, Xan cleared his throat, drawing Obi-Wan’s eyes. “I… I wanted to say I’m sorry…” he mumbled. “For my behavior today, I mean.”

Obi-Wan’s lashes fluttered down, shielding his eyes from Xan’s gaze. “It’s all right, Xan.” The young man’s voice sounded distant, setting off alarm bells in Xanatos.

He got up and then knelt by Obi-Wan’s chair. Xan’s hand came up and turned the young man’s face toward him. Xan reached up and placed a gentle kiss on the soft lips. There was a response from the young man, but it was faint, hesitant.

Groaning, Xanatos stood up, pulling Obi-Wan with him. Ignoring the young man’s half-hearted protests, he picked him up and carried him to the bed.

Xanatos quickly removed the shimmersilk shirt and leather pants, then drank in the lovely sight of Obi-Wan’s bared body. The older man shed his own clothes just as quickly and then threw himself down on Obi-Wan’s body, burying his lips in the skin at the younger man’s throat.

Xan’s hand came down to tease the eager flesh that rose, taut and crimson, against Obi-Wan’s belly. He chuckled when he felt Obi-Wan shudder beneath him and then pull him closer, arching his back and demanding more.

Eagerly complying with the request, Xan’s fingers drifted down to Obi-Wan’s entrance, lightly testing it with feathery soft touches.

Obi-Wan groaned and thrust up once more, demanding.

Chuckling, Xan called the small vial of oil to his hand and quickly dipped his fingers in the softly scented slickness. Leaning down, his lips claimed Obi-Wan’s as his fingers pushed into the young man’s body.

Obi-Wan grunted and spread his legs, giving Xanatos better access. He withdrew his fingers and savored the younger man’s moan of protest at the loss.

Barely taking the time to spread the oil on his own cock, Xanatos pressed against the well-oiled entrance. Obi-Wan’s eyes were closed, and his face with tight with need. Xanatos trembled at the beauty of the young man beneath him, begging the fallen Jedi to take him, to fill him up.

With a harsh grunt that was both triumphant and domineering, Xanatos thrust into Obi-Wan’s body. It was wild and fierce, each of them pushing the other to the edge and then backing off. With a final hard thrust, Xanatos spilled himself inside the straining young body.

Beneath him, Obi-Wan found his own completion and threw his head back, a word ripped from his throat.

“Master!”
