Chapter 8

They moved together in unison. Her breath coming out in short gasps as he moved roughly inside her,
gaining on his climax. With one final thrust, he sent them both spiraling into ecstasy.

Rolling off of her, the Goblin King stood up and walked over to the lavish table, picking up a golden goblet
with ease and emptying its contents into his mouth, feeling the liquid burn his throat on its way down.
Licking his lips, his thoughts drifted to the girl. Ah yes, the girl....

The woman eyed him as she put her clothes back on. He was thinking about HER again. That human, that
woman child, of course, he was always thinking about her. That’s all he ever thought about. She hopped
onto the bed and watched him. How long would he stand in that daze?

“Why don’t you just end this!?” the blonde-haired woman suddenly cried out in frustration. The King
glanced back at her, unamused. “Take her, use her, shame her, and then dispose of her like the piece of
rubbish that she is! How hard can it be? She is but a mortal girl.”

“It’s not quite that simple,” the Goblin King sighed, moving to lay on the bed next to her, staring at the
ceiling. “I have so much in store for her, so much I want her to feel.”

“It IS that simple,” the agitated beauty growled, “Heavens, you’re acting like this is some boyhood crush.
You want her. I can see it in your eyes. Just take her. It will not be difficult, I assure you.”

“I don’t want it to turn out so,” he explained, “I want her to beg for me, to love me, and then.....then I can
break her. Break her like she tried break me. It will be the very taking of her soul, of all that makes her defy
me. Her spirit, her strength, her fire, will all be quenched and no more will I be haunted by her victory over
me.”

“So you seek revenge, do you?” deep blue eyes brightened and a sinister smile played on her golden face.
“What you plan for her is impossible.” Her laughter was clear and soft. “You know that as well as I. The
girl loathes you, Jareth. She fears you. You are the villain in her story, the one who preys on her dreams, on
her innocence. And she is no fool. She will know what you are up to. Oh yes, she will.”

Jareth turned to her, annoyed. “You think I don’t know that? I have many things in store for my dear Sarah.
She may loath me, fear me, etcetera, but she does certainly lust for me and I can and will use that to my
own advantage.”

“And you think that is all?” the golden beauty asked.

“All I have to do is pretend to love her,” He smiled at her, “Instead of being her villain, I will be her hero,
her world, everything that her heart desires. I will gain her trust first, of course, to make it easier on myself.
And then, when I have all of that love in the palm of my hand,” He extended his palm to the pretty face. “ I
will crush her and have a most glorious revenge.” He clenched his hand suddenly into a fist, making the
woman jump slightly.

“It will be exquisite,” the lady laughed.

“Humans are such lonely beings,” Jareth mused. “They crave attention and affection at every turn in life.
Without it, they cannot live, cannot function properly. Quite pathetic, really. Yet it all works out to my
advantage, for our Sarah, although now immortal, is still a human and will thus fall victim to loneliness in
which she will seek solace in her very worst enemy. Oh, the irony of it all.” He laughed gently to himself.

“And if you haven’t noticed, my dear Helen,” he said firmly, “This will take quite some effort. I don’t want
you meddling in this.” The woman laughed again.

“Can’t I at least watch?” she asked innocently.

“No,” he said flatly.

“You know, Jareth,” she said, hesitating at first, “It seems to me that you are starting to develop feelings for
the girl.” There was a long pause and then she was pushed roughly off the bed with a cry.

“The only feelings that I have for her are utter contempt and perhaps some bottled lust,” he said sharply. He
put on his shirt and started to walk out. The beauty stood up from the floor.

“Where are you going?” she asked, flustered.

“To settle some unfinished business,” he muttered as the door slammed behind him.

A/N: Sorry it’s so short. The next one will be longer I just needed this part to connect it to the rest of the
story.
