My Savior, My Elder, My .....
Help?
I watch Re’san tap his talons on the table. His face looks full of concern. “What is it Re’san?”
The huge Arbitrator shifts in his seat as he stops tapping. He looks to me then gives one last tap. “I am a little concerned at So’ghan’s presence on your ship. He is not known for his gentleness.”
I sigh deeply knowing he is correct. Though never going so far as to break codes So’ghan could be a very dangerous Yautja. “I know my friend.”
The one saving grace is if my brother is correct in his observation, if the female has had offspring she would be protected by So’ghan while he is there; provided Cro’vin has not hidden her away.
It is only known by a handful that So’ghan enjoys watching Ooman child bearers’; but as far as I know he has never touched one. Of course this fact he has kept well hidden from his Yautja mates.
Ceta sighs deeply as he plops himself down on a seat. He had been to his navigation room for an update. “It is confirmed my friends; it is So’ghan’s mother ship. All attempts to contact him have failed.”
Re’san grunts and I notice his brows rise. “You know as well as I that he is not known for accepting communications from anyone of a lower status than himself.”
I grunt and shake my head. “He is a very pompous Yautja. One day he will be humbled and it will be something small that does it.”
Sighing deeply I rise from my seat. “I feel it is time to inform my son of my impending visit. I am not going to tell him my exact time of arrival.”
Ceta and Re’san nod their heads in agreement as I move off.
Placing my hand on my navigator’s shoulder I take a deep breath before giving him the signal to press the button. The image of my son appears and he looks surprised to see me. “Greetings Father, how are you?”
I bow my head. “I am fine my Son, you are looking well.”
Cro’vin smiles at me. ”I am very well Father.”
I can tell he is curious at why I would be contacting him at this point in time. “I will be docking with the ship in six months time to make some repairs.”
The look on his face was priceless. “Anything major Father?”
I smile softly at him. “No my Son, nothing major. I thought it would give me a chance to see how my grandsons are doing in preparation for their man hood trials.”
Cro’vin bows his head to me. “I shall prepare for your arrival Father, safe journey.”
We bow our heads as the image fades from view.
I look behind me to see Ceta and Re’san and sigh deeply. Ceta smiles at me and places his hand on my shoulder gently shaking it. “You did well my boy.”
I grunt towards my friends. “Then why do I feel so bad.”
Re’san looks down at me as he places his hand on my shoulder. “It is not every day that you plan a course of action that is going to end in the death of your own offspring my friend.”
Re’san was right; through Cro’vin’s actions he is lowering himself to the status of a bad blood. I now have the opportunity to bring honor back to my bloodline.

Sonny and I stand in silence until moments later the door opens. My Master growls angrily as he grabs Sonny around the neck and drags him out of the room. I don’t realize I’m not alone in the room until I lift my head and see the Grand Elder standing there.
In my fright I back myself against the wall while forgetting about the kneeling rule. I cringe then lower myself to the floor curling into a ball and wait for the impact but it never comes. “Calm yourself Ooman and look at me.”
He spoke English, prefect English. His voice is hoarse like the others but it is perfect just the same.
I quickly look at him then lower my head. “Please female look at me, it is important.”
I shake in fear as I slowly raise my head to look at him. His features are the same as the creature in my dream but there’s something different about him. His aging wrinkled face is framed by graying dreadlocks almost white in places. I don’t dare go so far as to look into his eyes. “My guards will come for you. They will have a lightning bolt etched into their masks like this. Obey their orders.”
He points to a scar on his forehead. I nod then quickly lower my head. I see a hand reach out for me but after a loud bang on the door the hand is quickly pulled away. The door opens and quickly looking up I see a young male. I lower my head as he begins to speak. “Father the feast is about to begin.”
I hear the Grand Elder sigh deeply. “Very well my Son I will be there shortly.”
I keep my head low until I hear the door slide again. I glance around quickly and find that I’m alone. I slowly get to my feet, movement still hurts. I take a look around the small room. The four dirty, old, torn mattresses definitely look like they’ve seen better days as do the blankets.
I see a pile of wood that suspiciously looks like chairs. The floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while. I look directly in front of me and see a small window. I move closer only to find that it is so dirty that I can’t see anything out of it.
I lower my head and fight my urge to cry as I think of the Grand Elder’s comments. “My guards will come for you. They will have a lightning bolt etched into their masks like this.” The Healer has a tattoo like that on his arm, but he has a crescent moon scar on his forehead. Why?
As I ponder my own question I hear heavy breathing behind me. My heart races as I hear the sound of blades being extended and they are ran lightly across my throat, but not enough to draw blood. “You are mine female remember that. You will not do anything with the Grand Elder that you have done with me; do you understand?”
I tremble as my Master runs his blades close to my throat once more. I close my eyes and utter the words he wants to hear. “Yes my Master”
My Master pushes my head to the side and I feel his hot breath on my neck. He reaches down and I gasp as he puts a hand through the top of my skirt. He groans as he comes in contact with my pubic hair. I shiver as he nuzzles his face into my neck and he inhales deeply. I gasp as he pushes his fingers inside me. Why is he being so gentle?
My thought is broken as he turns me around and kicks me to the wall. He brings his foot back to kick again but the door opens to reveal two large males with masks on. I quickly glance up and notice the lightning bolt etched into their masks. In a strange move my Master reaches down and gently but firmly takes my arm. He pulls me to my feet then brings me closer to him squeezing my arm. “Remember what I said female.”
One of the large males growls angrily as he sees my Master reach for my neck. “Grand Elder So’ghan orders that the female be placed in his quarters.”
My Master bows his head to the male and squeezes my arm; we begin to walk towards the door. “I shall take her there myself.”
We begin to move, I softly cry out in pain and the other male steps into the room and blocks our exit. “I think not Cro’vin; we are to escort her there. You may follow if you wish.”
My Master grunts as he lets go of my arm. The large males motion towards the door and my Master moves out first. The males look down to me and I hear them speaking but I can’t understand what they say.
These two new males stand at least two feet taller than my Master and look twice as bulky. I take deep breaths to both calm myself and prepare for the pain of walking. Out of the corner of my eye I see them nod to each other and one walks out the door. The door suddenly closes and my heart feels like it’s going to jump from my chest.
I glance up and notice the male standing there looking at me with his head is cocked to the side. I look quickly at his mask, it has scroll-like images etched into the cheek area. I jump as I hear the other male roaring at my Master but can’t hear was is being said over the sound of my beating heart and through the closed door.
I begin to back away, my eyes closing in pain. I hear a soft growl and when I open my eyes I see the male backing away also bowing his head to me. He cocks his head to the side and points to the door. “Come female, we do not want the keep the Grand Elder waiting.”
I swallow hard and walk to the door. It opens and I find the other large male standing over my Master. As I walk past him I notice the area under his eye begin to swell.
The two large males are directly behind me and I can almost feel the heat from their bodies as we walk down the corridor. We stop in front of set of doors and my heart almost skips a beat as they open into a small room and we walk in.
One of the males’ growls angrily as my Master stops the doors from closing. He steps in and growls. “Elder’s level.”
I begin to feel the room move and I grunt from the motion of the elevator rising suddenly. I feel so hot and as the elevator stops I almost fall to the floor. My Master stares at me as I steady myself. I lower my head and he grunts as the doors open. I glance quickly and see another huge male on the other side of the door pull my Master out. I keep my head low as we make our way out the elevator.
We walk down a corridor with walls with decorative golden images of the huge creatures. We stop in a large sitting area and to my left I see two large doors with wooden decorative panels. They have more golden images of the creatures only they are fighting another creature I have never seen before.
The doors slide open to reveal a large bedroom, much larger than the one Sonny, Chris and I cleaned. I begin to shake my head. “Please, no”
I hear one of the males grunt as the doors slide close behind us. “No what, Ooman.”
Remembering the Grand Elder’s orders I bow my head and search for a place to sit. I slowly lower myself down to sit only to stand back up quickly because it hurt so much. I look up to see the males look at each other then to me. I try sitting again only much slower this time.
As I sit quietly I feel my eyes getting heavier, they begin to close and I accidentally bump a button on the edge of the chair. I gasp as the chair begins to spin around and a large panel starts to slides away. I hear soft laughter from the direction of the door as the panel slowly reveals a large window.
We must have stopped because the stars no longer fly by. I sit in awe looking at the twinkling stars. Hoping my voice is low enough I speak softly. “Wow! They’re so bright.”
“They are, are they not?”
I know, I know a cliffie. Yah ain’t going to like me anyway because Tina isn’t getting saved yet. But she does get a little bit of peace compared to what she’s been getting. I hope that puts people at ease.
