EXECUTOR: KELLY’S ROOM

Kelly awoke and stretched across the bed. Her back was healing nicely, the soreness barely noticeable. A smile on her lips, she recalled the last several days. She had never felt so....secure, not on Hoth, hell, not even on Earth.

There were no luxuries on that iceberg of a planet Hoth, just work. Here, on Vader’s ship, she was looked after quite well. She wasn’t required to do anything but be willing and able when he called.

In most every way, Vader was exactly the type of man Kelly always fell for. The possessive, controlling, sexually aggressive and tortured soul kind of man. She’d been on the run from one, only to land at the feet of another. This time, however, there would be no escaping him. If he could find her on some icy dead planet on the outer rim, then he could find her anywhere.

The comlink in her room sounded with Piett’s voice telling her to meet Lord Vader on the bridge.

EXECUTOR BRIDGE:

Vader looked over the motley crew of bounty hunters, an assemblage of the galaxy’s most notorious scum. Only the most heartless and greedy had been summoned by the Sith Lord. This bounty was far too important for your regular, run of the mill hunter. He needed one with cunning and ruthlessness.

Arriving on the bridge just as Vader finished his inspection, Kelly’s sense of smell was assaulted.

'Holy shit, this smell is ten times worse than that of fuckin' Bigfoot's,' she thought, cupping her hands over her mouth and nose.

She went to take her place at Lord Vader's side when she stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes wide with astonishment, she let out a small gasp. Vader, hearing her, turned in her direction.

"What is it?" He asked, intrigued by her sudden outburst.

Kelly stared, floored by the sight of her friend. Dressed in a beige jumpsuit covered by chest armor with a blaster at her side, Tika was a sight to behold amongst the smelly battle damaged hunters. Tika immediately shot Kelly the most severe look she could muster without anyone noticing.

Thinking quickly, Kelly lit into an uncontrollable coughing fit, hacking and choking. Pounding at her chest, she managed to squeak out an explanation, “Sorry, I, er, swallowed something the wrong way, if you know what I mean,” a sly look crossing her face.

‘That should satisfy him, for now.’ Kelly breathed a sigh of relief when Vader turned his attention away from her.

Head swimming and heart pounding, Kelly tried to avoid looking in Tika’s direction.

Vader’s offer to the bounty hunters was made. As soon as Kelly heard ‘Millennium Falcon’, her ears pricked up.

Vader was pleased, soon he would have the Rebels in custody. All the pieces were falling into place.

Once again, Kelly was seated at the dining table, a newer version of the broken one that had once graced the dining chamber. Vader stood at the head of the black rectangle, the tips of his fingers lightly pressed to its shiny surface.

It was getting damn near impossible for Kelly to control the laughter bubbling up inside as she remembered what happened the last time she was in this room. Covering her mouth was the only way she could restrain herself.

“I have received word from one of the bounty hunters that your Rebel friends are headed toward Bespin. Once we arrive, you will accompany me to Cloud City. I shall require your help. I’m sure you won’t fail me, will you?” He said, more as a statement than a question.

BESPIN: CLOUD CITY

Their shuttle docked on a circular landing pad. Vader emerged with Kelly not far behind. They were greeted by a very handsome man who gave his name as Lando Calrissian.

“My Lord, everything is ready. We just received word that the Millennium Falcon’s ETA is about three standard hours. In the meantime I hope you’ll take advantage of our hospitality. I am sure your young lady might enjoy some pampering?” Taking Kelly’s hand, Lando planted a soft kiss on it. Vader stiffened and fisted his hands.

“I could use some new clothes. I lost everything I had. May I go awhile, that is, my Lord, if you don’t mind? I promise, I won‘t be long.” Kelly pleaded, giving him her most seductive look as she ran her hands over his chest.

Vader was uneasy, but there were things he had to attend to and it would be best if Kelly didn’t know about them just yet. This would afford him the time needed and keep her happy enough to want to stay with him even if it meant he had to buy her affection.

“Very well, I will give you two hours. Get whatever you need, take advantage of the salons here, but do not be late. I will meet you in the dining chamber when you are done. I trust you‘ll be in safe hands with Calrissian.” The warning tone in Vader’s voice was enough to elicit a promise from Lando.

“She will be quite safe with me, my Lord.” Lando bowed reassuringly.

Satisfied that there would be no indiscretions, Vader strode away from them followed by an entourage of stormtroopers and officers.

“Dining chamber again.” Kelly sighed, a smirk on her face.

“Excuse me?” Lando queried, his eyebrows raised in question.

“Oh, it’s nothing. Now, you were going to show me some Cloud City hospitality?” Kelly smiled as she took Lando’s arm.

Two hours later, having spent her time buying new clothes and getting pampered at Cloud City Salon, Kelly entered the dining chamber. Vader was already seated, waiting for her.

"I trust you found everything you needed?" He asked in weary tone.

"Yes, I did. Thank you for letting me get them." Kelly answered, suddenly feeling very guilty. Here she was, indulging herself; while Vader obviously had something troubling him to the point it caused exhaustion. She wondered if this had anything to do with Tika's presence aboard the Executor and the Rebels approach.

As if reading her thoughts, Vader said, "The Rebels will be escorted here shortly. Once I have them in custody it will only be a matter of time before Luke Skywalker attempts to rescue them. When he does arrive, you will lead him to me."

Kelly's heart leaped at hearing Luke's name.

"I have to bring Luke to you, and you want me to be here when they're brought in?" she asked incredulously.

“That is the plan. Lets just say this is a,....test of your loyalty to the Empire, and to me.” Vader replied, putting emphasis on the last word.

No more was send as Vader stood. The doors to the dining chamber slid open. There in the doorway stood Han, Leia, Chewie and Calrissian. The looks of shear astonishment on all of their faces were priceless. Han’s jaw practically dropped to the floor. Her scar still visible, Leia shot Kelly a hate filled glare. Chewie let out an ear splitting howl.

In a flash, Han drew his blaster and fired two shots. Vader expertly blocked each one with his hands. Han’s weapon flew from his grip as the Sith Lord gracefully caught it.

Movement caught Kelly’s eye. She turned. From the shadows, Boba Fett and Tika emerged, their weapons ready.

Without warning, Chewie drew his weapon and fired at the bounty hunters. Vader grabbed Kelly and pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her he held her tight. Instinctively, Tika returned fire, meaning to disable the Wookie, but instead her aim missed and hit Leia in the heart. Han shouted her name, but the princess was already dead before her body hit the floor.
