"Please don't cry" I try and soothe my sobbing wife
"I am sorry..." she whispers wiping away tears
"No love..." I soothe
"I just don't know how much more I can take..."
"Please..."
"I am trying so hard to be a good mother"
"I know you are..." I whisper
"But it's so hard..."
I sigh
"I have wanted this for so long...I never thought that I would have children, i had given up hope..."
"We both had..." I say heavily slumping down beside her
"I was so happy when i thought we were going to be adopting...the baby..." she dare not say the name
"Oh Bail"
"Do not fret...you will soon start to bond..."
"No..."
"Do not be pessimistic..." I try to cheer her
"Bail..." she whispers looking around, as if someone was going to hear her saying it
"What?" I sigh leaning into hear her words
"it's like she knows"
"Like who knows?" I whisper dread filling me, was the stress sending her delusional?
"The baby...Leia..."
"Don't call her that"
"well she cries every time we call her the other name..." she gulps looking at me eyes wild
"She has a gift I tell you..."
"Now dear, be calm, how could the child..."
"I don't know, I just know she *knows*"
"Knows what?"
"That she doesn't belong with us..."
"Of course she belongs with us..."
"No she doesn't...we *stole* her..."

"Yes...we *stole her*...and this is just the beginning..." she whispers I sigh maybe it was best to get a medic to her she needed to see someone she was delusional
"We are going to pay for stealing that child..."

"Sssh honey..." I try to soothe the screaming child she carries on regardless I swear no child has cried so much
“sssh!” I try to soothe once again cooing to her I place her on my shoulder frowning in shock as she suddenly quietens
“Jade?” A shriek and more tears
“Sssh...” I murmur again turning, and I feel a sickness invade my body I shiver as I see the holo picture on the wall swallowing I turn my head back beginning to tremble a picture of me and Padme ‘Jade’ is looking at it rapturously
“Honey...” I murmur
She makes a soft sound trying to strain towards the picture
“No....”
“Ugh....” she strains towards it
“No” I breathe grasping her wriggling body tighter I rush out of the room Dear God No I’m imagining it, she is a baby, there is no way she knows...no way...
