The day I died inside
Disclaim: I do not own Star Wars but I ‘do’ own Saria, and Olivay, thank you.
I sighed and sat down on the steps of the Jedi temple. My training robe was to big for me and it flowed out on the steps. I noticed the librarian Franny walk towards me. She smiled and held out a lollipop to me.
"Have you been working hard?" she asked with a smile.
I nodded vigorously and she gave me the lollipop. I smiled and took of the wrapper, then stuck it into my mouth.
"Do you have any training classes right now?" she asked as she took my hand and helped me up.
"Um I’m s'pouse to get a book" I said looking up at her.
"What kind of book?" she asked.
"Um Master Yoda said it was s'pouse to be bout' the power fed - fed - fed-er-a um...?" I tired to pronounce the last word.
"Federation" Franny said. I nodded in agreement. "Alright one second" she went of to find the book. I examined the different students in the library, some Padawans others even Jedi Knights. I scanned the room for a familiar face and found one.
I ran over to Obi-Wan and put a goofy grin on my face, "Hi Obi-Wan!" I said cheerfully. Obi-Wan Kenobi had just gotten back from a mission with his master Qui-Gon Jinn. He was 22 years old and was close to the trials. He had once saved me from a raid of foreign aliens, ever since then I looked up to him.
"Oh, hello Saria how are you?" he asked digging into his pocket and pulling out a lollipop for me. I took it like a peace offering and put it into my mouth to join its twin.
"I'm good!" I replied with speed.
"I’m surprised you can still talk with the suckers in your mouth" a voice said behind me, I turned to see Master Qui-Gon Jinn.
"Master Jinn!" I yelled as he handed me a lollipop, I stuck it in my mouth with the other two.
"So have any masters shown an interest in you yet?" he asked.
"Umhm Master Olivay she said that I show po-po-t-po-ten- um?" I asked.
"Potential" Obi-Wan said.
"Yea POTENTIAL!" I said happily.
"Well it was lovely chatting with you again Saria but Obi-Wan and I have to go to see the council" Qui-Gon said.
I smiled, "Course Master Jinn" I said bowing respectfully to him, "Bye OBI-WAN!"
They both left laughing to themselves.
"Saria I found the book" Franny yelled.
~2 years later~
'Being 8 is hard' I thought as I blocked another blaster bolt my master had set up. "Saria we are going on a training mission" she interrupted my concentration.
"really were Master?" I asked excitedly, it would be my first mission. "Well you turn 9 in two days right?" she asked.
"Yup!" I said.
"Good were leavening in 2 days, I cant take you on a outer space mission inles your 9" she finished.
"Okay Master!" I said excitedly.
~2 days later~
We boarded the republic ship. "So where are we going?" I asked.
"To Naboo, its under the trade federations seize" she replied.
"Hey isn’t that were Obi-Wan and Master Jinn were sup-su-supose to go?" I asked.
She smiled "Yes it was, but this is serious times alright young one?"
"Kay Kay Master!" I replied enthusiastically. She handed me a sucker.

"Come in republic ship *chhhhhh* please respond *chhhhh*" I saw a picture of Qui-Gon appear on the hologram phone. I pushed the red bottom, "Master Jinn?".
"Saria *chhhhhhh* where’s master *chhhhhh* Olivay?" he asked.
"Right here" I heard my master behind me.
"*chhhhh* land on the outskirts of the forest on Naboo *chhhh chhchhc whirl whirl*" the hologram then shut down.
Olivay sighed and parked the ship on the outskirts of the forest. We got of the ship and was greeted by gungans and Obi-Wan.
"Hi Obi-Wan" I said happily, "Hi big ears!" I greeted the gungans.
"SARIA!" Olivay scolded.
"Meesa name is Jar Jar Binks" the gungan said well picking me up and putting me on his back.
"YAY GUNGAN RIDE!" I yelled.
He laughed and started running through the forest, we arrived at the war site allot sooner then my master and Obi-Wan. There I met Padme or Queen Amidala, I also met a boy named Anakin Skywalker, the gungan king and Qui-Gon.
"Master Jinn!" I yelled as he handed me a sucker.
"Hello Saria" he said, "Where Master Olivay?"
"Here!" we heard Olivays voice say as she and Obi entered the clearing.
Padme walked up to me and smiled, "Hello I’m Padme who are you?"
"Hello Queen Amidala I'm Saria Forester" I bowed respectfully to her.
"Please don’t bow to me how old are you?"
"I’m 9 just today M'lady" I replied with a smile, she seemed nice.
"Really you look about 12" she replied studying me.
"Thank you M'lady" I replied.
She smiled, "Please call me Padme"
"Okay Padme, so what’s the sit-situ-s-situa-tion here?" I asked looking at the gungan army.
"Are you a Padawan learner?" she asked me eyeing my lightsaber on the side of my belt.
I was very proud of my lightsaber that I had had since I was 5, it was the colour red. People said that was the colour of a dark Jedi’s lightsaber but I didn’t agree. What’s a colour got to do with anything?
"Umhm, Master Olivay is my Master" I replied running to stand beside Olivay.
"But your so young" Padme said looking concerned.
"Padawans are usually chosen at the age of 8, there trained in the Jedi temple at the age of 5" Master Olivay said.
"Oh what colour is your lightsaber?" she asked me.
I grinned, "It red".
Her face dropped, "isn’t that the colour of a dark Jedi’s lightsaber?"
"No that’s superficial, what’s a colour have to do with someone soul except pre-pre-perhaps black?" I asked.
She smiled, "That’s true."
I could see the weariness in her eyes, poor girl she has so much to deal with right now.
Master Olivay smiled, "Now onto the plans?"

Padme decided to go back to her people, so naturally I fallowed, so did Obi-Wan his master, my master and Anakin.
We landed in the hanger bay and Obi-wan and Master Jinn took out the droids holding the pilots prisoner.
The door to the hanger bay opened and a creepy guy with horns entered.
He looked at me for a second before saying, "You girl...You have the dark mark all over you, who where your parents?"
"don’t answer him Saria!" Olivay said.
My heart was beating, the dark mark?
"Sheriah Forester and Gregon Forester" I replied.
He grinned and what he said would haunt me for the rest of my child life. It was that day that my child ness left, it was that day that my smile vanished and I was no longer happy. On that day I grew up.
"And fine sith lords they where".

I stood on the side of the casket, Master Jinn was being burned atop it. The monster had killed him. I was so cold, I just stood there, my eyes had no happiness to them. My master was also sad she kept looking at me out of the corner of her eye.
That was the last day I would ever cry.
Slowly a crystal of water fell out of the corner of my right eye. It fell slowly down my face, in its path a black mark fallowed. It then dripped of, staining my right eye with a jagged black line. It went from the bottom of my eye to all the way down my cheek. Master Olivay saw this and bent down trying to rub it off. The black mark never came off.

Okay so there’s my one shot. Um I ‘will’ probably make a sequel to it, um I worked really hard on this so please don’t burn me. Thank You. If you want a sequel please just ask.
