Chapter one
Disclaimer: I don't own Pirates of the Caribbean or any of the characters and stuff, I'm just borrowing them for a little adventure. Don't sue me.
Note: I just thought of what would happen if Will and Elizabeth went with Jack when he left. I hope this is original, because I haven't seen any like this so far. AU

"You will remember this as the day you-" Jack cut off as he tripped backwards over the walls and fell to the ocean below. Without waiting another moment, Will and Elizabeth dived in after him, Elizabeth only pausing to remove her heavy dress. They knew that if they stayed around, they would have to face their actions, and Jack's way of life was so much more adventurous. It was fun, unlike the life they lived every day, in and out.
The marines just stood around in shock as they all climbed up and onto the Black Pearl once again, starting the adventure. Then all at once they started asking the commodore for orders, annoying him to no end. It was bad enough that Elizabeth had a ridiculous fascination with pirates, but to join them is just foolish. He knew that he would have to catch them, and then hang them, and he didn't want to do that. But, he might as well give them a head start for a day or so, instead of rushing down there straight at them. It would only be fair. And it would add to the chase. His only regret was that, despite his and Governor Swann's influences, Elizabeth had still chosen the life of a pirate.

A/N: I'm sorry it's so short, and that I changed it a bit for the better, but only made it shorter. I rewrote it because apparently I got some things wrong. So, yeah. I made Commodore Norrington a nice guy. I don't know who the bad guy's going to be, but there will be something. Maybe the ghost of Barbossa… hmm… has possibilities.
