"If there is any man that finds this union disagreeable speak now or forever more keep silent."
The priest called out, glancing around the filled chapel and when no one spoke up his aged milky eyes went back to the couple before him. He continued the lengthy ceremony knowing that this was not a love match and feeling pangs of sorry for the woman who remained stoic and strong.
Will Turner’s eyes never wavered from the woman in white, her back turned to him, he imagined that she would turn to him at any moment and he would see the plea in her eyes to take her way. They would run from the garishly adorned chapel unhindered and set sail to an exotic port. Singapore. Yes. Jack had always talked about the place. They would disappear and live the life of Pirates. Together.
"...Husband and Wife in the eyes of god...." He heard as his mind cleared from the willful fog of fantasy. /Elizabeth!/ All hope for them now crumbled around his feet, his heart bleeding dry. She was now someone elses. She was now Mrs. Commodore, as Jack had so accurately dubbed her.
With a sigh of defeat Will made his way into the open salty air of Port Royal, his mind scattered here and there as he walked to the docks. "To the fires of hades with them both." He gave in and sank into his anger, anger at not being the man that could claim his wondrous and beautiful Elizabeth.
His only consolation now lay in his friend, Capt. Jack Sparrow, and in his own ship. The Tartarus.

Jack stood at the helm, hands wrapped securely around the weathered wheel, as he watched Will approach. He knew instantly, with the cast of Will’s frame, what the outcome of the day had been. Miss. Swann had undoubtably gone through with her farce of a marriage. Folly.
How could she not see the better man? The man that would give her heaven and earth, and the vast ocean between. "Idiot wench."
In that moment, seeing his friends heartache as he stepped from the gangway, he vowed to find a replacement for Elizabeth’s love. It didn’t matter a whit if he had to travel to the ends of the world to find it, he would do it.
"You’re all the better for it, Will. Shall I recount the horrors of a married man?" Jack slapped his hands on his hips as he eyed the younger man.
"How would you know. You’ve never been wed." Will glared, his mood brewing stronger than any storm upon the sea.
"Aye. I have...." Jack barked, moving to follow Will below deck, steering the distraught man towards the galley and an aged cask of rum. "...But for a day. She was a robust woman fr tri tribe of near the east islands. For some reason..." He tapped his chin and then gave a carefree wave of his hand. "Her father was not fond of me and tried most spiritedly to separate me from my head...."
Will turned a skeptical gaze on him as he took a place at the wide plank table. "Your fairytales have no place here, Jack."
"Fairytale?" The infamous captain sputtered, his eyes wide with affront. "I’ll have you know that not only is my marriage to an island sow not a fairytale but it is the subject of many a nightmare."
"Yes. Of course." Will relented, allowing Jack to ramble on with the rest of his story, ramble on through four tankards of rum.

Miserable. Elizabeth through herself back onto the bed, finally giving into the deluge of tears that had threatened all day, that had in fact threatened for the last month. A commodore’s wife was not what she wanted to be. But the promise of her hand had saved Will and for that she would have promised her very soul.
A mistake. An et vot vow.
She longed to take it all back and become the pirate’s woman she knew she was meant to be but her fate was sealed. Shoving off the bed she starred down in disgust at the white silk that bound her body and began trying to rip it away.
"Elizabeth?"
She stilled, her heart sinking.
"Elizabeth, are you alright?"
Her father gave a brief knock and entered the chamber. His eyes worried and red rimmed hinted at his own inner turmoil.
"Come, you have guests. You must do your duty and honor your husband. Be the hostess I know you to be." He urged, hoping she could come to love Norrington and purge her feelings for Will Turner. But the man was a realist. The prospect was unlikely at best.
Brushing away her telling tears she moved to her father’s side and pasted on a overly bright smile. "Lead me forth, father."

Weaving through the ships keel Will’s limp arm slung across his shoulder Jack made his way to the cabin that belonged to his friend. Made his way towards the clean sun warmed bed that awaited if only he could keep from falling over his own drunken feet.
"What’s that blasted song the wenang?ang?" He mumbled, trying to piece together the words of the song that Elizabeth had sang over and over while stranded alone with him. Her pirate song.
"Leave off..." Will hissed, opening his glazed eyes for a moment, even in his drunkenness knowing it was his woman the pirate was referring to.
"Ah. Come now, young Turner, will sooth the beast in you." Whispering near Will’s ear he quickly found himself nuzzling the smooth skin of the other man’s cheek.
"I fear nothing will sooth this beast lest a randy romp." Will giggled, returning the overly friendly attention, his lips finding the tan shell of Jack’s ear. Later he would wonder how his body could have reacted so quickly, so surely to a man. How he could have become so throughly aroused by his best friend. He ached now with the wanting of Jack as his hand dropped from the strong shoulder and groped downward to the pirates chest. He pushed the other man back against the rough wooden bulk head, tearing at his soiled cotton shirt.
"Patience, Turner...." He slapped at the younger man’s hand, but with little effect. Jack’s own body was contradicting his order at an alarming speed, his burgeoning erection was now rubbing unhindered against Will’s hip, cutting a furrow of need through his gut.
Hot slick muscle tensed and rolled below Will’s hand while his fingers searched out the twin flat disc he yearned for. Pinching and twisting male nipples he moaned, grinding his engorged shaft into Jack’s opposite hip. His mind swimming through a rum sea gave itself totally over to the debauchery at hand.
Jack turned his head a fraction of a second before Will would have sealed their lips and he glanced down the way estimating the steps to the other man’s cabin, less than half a dozen. "Come..." He whispered.
"I’m trying." Will slurred, dropping his curled lips to Jack’s neck and bitting roughly at the salty skin there.
"No...." His own giggles sounded a bit more girlish than most in the tension infused silence surrounding them. "For the love of Hades, I mean for you to follow me. Savy?"
"Ah." Will lifted his head and nodded. "Aye. Will follow you anywhere, Captain Sparrow." His hand drifted lower rubbing suggestively over the tenting bulge at the front of Jack’s britches.
"Tis a good thing, lad, I plan on taking you to the stars this night." He growled pushing off the wall and jerking Will towards the distant door.
"Take me and make me forget."

Governor Swann sighed watchhis his daughter lead around the dance floor on the hand of her new husband, the man proud as a cock in a coop. But a man that was a marvelous match months earlier only seemed to bring disdain to his mind now. His daughter did not love him and of that there would be no reversal, his hopes had faded into a fast death. Now he was left with the bitter taste of fatherly treason upon his tongue, for as sure as he drew breath his urging had also clouded his daughters mind when she accepted the commodores proposal.
"Blasted, for the lack of a way out of this matrimonial anarchy." He hissed, his mind working feverishly for his beloved daughters sake.
/Nothing short of death will break these vows... /
"Death." He seized upon that one word wondering if it could be done. He began plotting.

Jack lay starring down into Will’s sleeping face, knowing he wouldn’t have to search for that love to replace Elizabeth’s after all. It came like a rogue wind slamming into him, Will’s love was there, within him. He would love Will enough to make him forget all else.
"I will never leave you. Never have you wanting for another, love." The vow was hastily spoken but with a meaning Jack Sparrow never knew existed within him.
Folly? Most absurdly.
